GOCE Instrument SimulatorObjective The objective of the GOCE Instrument simulator was to demonstrate to the Netherlands Space Office the feasibility and capabilities of the GOCE Gradiometer Instrument.Context To support feasibility and early design investigations for the GOCE Gradiometer Instrument a simulator was developed by the Netherlands Institute for Space Research (SRON) and the Technical University of Delft. All relevant on-board systems were simulated. The focus was on a realistic Gradiometer Instrument model and the gravity model itself.Role of EuroSim The simulation system was developed with EuroSim.
