Global Navigation Satellite System Performance Validation (for civil aviation).
Objective
To provide an early end-to-end operational validation capability for the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) based navigation systems.

Several configurations are proposed based on EuroSim, ranging from an all software configuration to EuroSim connected to the GNSS simulator, to EuroSim connected to high fidelity flight simulator or ATC simulator via DIS technology.

Context
In this work for EUROCONTROL ITT, procedures will be developed for the validation of the required signal-in-space (SIS) parameters and the performance of the user equipment which together define the overall navigation system performance.

This activity should help identify the required infrastructure for the certification of GNSS for civil aircraft navigation.
